Peter Jones. This is a small black and white portrait of Peter Jones the Manchester United footballer. The picture is taken from the Manchester United player by player book and was signed in person by Peter Jones at a United reunion dinner. Jones began his football career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, but was signed up by Manchester United in 1955. He was part of the famous Busby Babes squad, but only made one appearance for United on the 19th October 1957 against Portsmouth before being sold to Wrexham in 1959. In seven years at Wrexham, Jones made an impressive 224 appearances, and even scored a credible seven goals. This is now quite a rare autograph.
